Bagia was formed in 1989 and its primary business is Retail of Automotive Fuels, Associated convenience stores, Accommodation business, establishing/operating Launderettes and Commercial/Residential property investments. Over many years, the Bagia has proven track record with many Retail Excellences Awards.The Company has an investment arm which invests on Real Estates and currently own number of properties across New Zealand. Bagia also diversified its interest to Hospitality industry through acquiring the "One88 on Commerce"' Motel back in 2017 and"The Village Resort"' Taupo in August 2019 and "The Park View Motel" in Hamilton in 2021. All three Motels are performing exceptionally well extending its services to many tourists and local travellers in Whakatane, Taupo and Hamilton and winning many Travel & Hospitality Awards. The company owns and operates 11 Caltex Service Stations. Nine of our sites are in greater Auckland region, two are in Hawkes Bay (Napier and Waipukurau) and our latest new built site is at Kapiti Coast. Caltex in New Zealand operates under RORO model (Retailer Owned and Retailer Operated) with long-term Fuel Supply Agreements with Caltex New Zealand (now 100% subsidiary of Z Energy 2015 LTD). The group also has invested extensively in acquiring real estate/property from where we operate our sites. Bagia is the only Caltex Multi Site operator amongst Caltex family of businesses in New Zealand that has extensively invested in new greenfield sites (over $10Million) – Caltex Oteha Valley Road and Caltex Henderson Valley Road (both in Auckland) and Caltex Kapiti.
